DID SOMEONE SAY HOLIDAYS?
Yep. My turn for spring break has finally come and I never needed it this much. I’ll be going home to Romania for three weeks in a couple of days and I couldn’t be happier! London is still my favourite place to be, but you know, home is where your family (and your cat) is.
So, let’s get started!
First things first, that scarf (from Primark) is the ultimate life-saver. I don’t know about you, but I always seem to get unusually cold on the airplane, so this scarf that doubles as a fluffy blanket is perfect. Plus, I can also use it as a pillow. The bag is…wait for it…. from Primark (shocker) and I actually debated taking my backpack with me instead, but concluded that grabbing things from a handbag would be easier.
The traditional laptop, of course. I’ll have to work on some assignments on the plane *sighs*. Then, water, an apple (although I might buy some more snacks), tissues (Yes, that’s Hello Kitty. I’m a three-year-old kid.), umbrella (It’s London, after all. And my journey to the airport will take at least 2 hours), charger, earphones, phone, sunglasses (Who knows? I’m an optimist.) and makeup bag.
That adorable little makeup bag with macaroons on it (Primark. This is getting embarrassing.) consists in:
- Burt’s Bees Hand Cream featured in my previous Boots haul
- Benefit’s Hello Flawless Powder in Ivory (just because it has a mirror)
- Real Techniques Buffing Brush from the Core Collection to apply the powder with
- Burt’s Bees lip balm (the best I have ever used)
- Orbit chewing gum – the container is a bit impractical for travelling, but I ain’t buying a smaller one!
This is pretty much everything I’ll take with me in my carry on.
I’ll most probably make a couple of posts during my staying there, so you can all see how lovely and underrated Romania is!
