Tanya Burr Falsies

FullSizeRender (2)Everyone, grab your calendars and mark this day: the 14th of May – Diana went out. I know, I can’t believe it either. But what would the average student do when exams are over and uni is finished? My answer would be “Hibernate?” but nope, I’ve been informed that they usually party. So hold on to your hat, because this is a wild one.

Now, false lashes? They were never my thing. The furthest I went was wearing some individual ones once or thrice. Guess I was feeling extra adventurous on my last trip to Superdrug when I saw these little beasts. But hey, Tanya Burr’s Everyday Flutter Half Lashes are shorter, less daring and easier to wear, so I decided to step out of my comfort zone to try them. FullSizeRender (3)

I am no expert when it comes to lash application and I do confess that I struggled when I put these on. I didn’t use the glue that came with it, simply because I have the Duo Adhesive, which is probably the best out there and the only one that I trust. It’s white and dries clear, but I did put eyeliner on the lash line, just to make sure everything is sleek and covered.

Overall, I was impressed by the lashes, they did not move at all and I LOVED how I felt while wearing them. I mean, if you want to feel like a badass princess that takes nobody’s s%&t, or just to boost your confidence, a pair of falsies does wonders. Of course, ya’ll are badass princesses without having to glue these to your eye balls. IMG_4438IMG_4405

I’m not going to say they look really natural, because some girls with experience will be able to notice them. But when you’re wearing false lashes you’re not really going for the natural look, are you?

Not gonna lie, it’s always a pain removing falsies. I will try not to wear them too often so I don’t damage my natural ones, but I honestly cannot wait to wear them again!

So, it would be a WIN for Tanya Burr’s falsies!

  1. I have these too! They’re my favourite lashes as a half lash is so much easier to use, especially for lash newbies like myself! Also, your make-up is once again on point! Xx

  2. OMG they look so beautiful. I’m wainting for my payday and then I’m gonna take some false eye lashes like this one or from eyelure. Did you try them ? I have two from MUFE but they are so difficult to apply ! Your make up is so georgous. I’m gonna follow you on insta girl ❤

    1. Yay! I actually wanted to get some Eyelure falsies, but then I saw these half lashes, which seemed better for me, especially since I have small eyes haha. And yep, false lashes in general are reaaally hard to apply without messing up the makeup, but a good adhesive does the job a million times easier! And thank youu, I just followed you on insta as well! ❤ ❤

  3. These DO look quite natural! I can’t handle very full or long lashes as they just don’t suit my eye shape, but a half lash that’s shorter sounds amazing! I like that the glue is included.

  4. Very pretty 🙂 I used to be a serial falsies wearer lol everyday! It got exhausting and honestly just don’t have the time for it now. I do love the idea of half lashes. Looks more natural than and maybe alright for day wear.

Also, your eyebrows are awesome 😛

    1. Thank you a lot, Claire! Well, I don’t know if they’re easier to apply than the full ones, because I still found it a bit hard.. but they’re lighter and easier to wear for sure! xx
