Everyone, grab your calendars and mark this day: the 14th of May – Diana went out. I know, I can’t believe it either. But what would the average student do when exams are over and uni is finished? My answer would be “Hibernate?” but nope, I’ve been informed that they usually party. So hold on to your hat, because this is a wild one.
Now, false lashes? They were never my thing. The furthest I went was wearing some individual ones once or thrice. Guess I was feeling extra adventurous on my last trip to Superdrug when I saw these little beasts. But hey, Tanya Burr’s Everyday Flutter Half Lashes are shorter, less daring and easier to wear, so I decided to step out of my comfort zone to try them.
I am no expert when it comes to lash application and I do confess that I struggled when I put these on. I didn’t use the glue that came with it, simply because I have the Duo Adhesive, which is probably the best out there and the only one that I trust. It’s white and dries clear, but I did put eyeliner on the lash line, just to make sure everything is sleek and covered.
Overall, I was impressed by the lashes, they did not move at all and I LOVED how I felt while wearing them. I mean, if you want to feel like a badass princess that takes nobody’s s%&t, or just to boost your confidence, a pair of falsies does wonders. Of course, ya’ll are badass princesses without having to glue these to your eye balls.
I’m not going to say they look really natural, because some girls with experience will be able to notice them. But when you’re wearing false lashes you’re not really going for the natural look, are you?
Not gonna lie, it’s always a pain removing falsies. I will try not to wear them too often so I don’t damage my natural ones, but I honestly cannot wait to wear them again!
So, it would be a WIN for Tanya Burr’s falsies!
