Best Concealer Ever?

Maybelline Concealer Age Rewind (3)

The rules of the game have changed. Gone are the times when I used to swear by the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer.

I present to you my new holy grail concealer: Maybelline Instant Age Rewind (in Light). Yes, I’m totally aware I am approximately 359 years behind and everyone started using this in the Prehistoric Era most probably, but yet here I am, praising it.

I admit, the packaging can be an issue for some, as it has an inconvenient sponge-like applicator – so it’s unhygienic to say the least. However, it didn’t break me out and I do find that the application goes on smoother due to the sponge.

Now, I may be a little bit cheeky, because I use it not only to conceal my dark circles, but also to cover blemishes or redness. What? You’re saying it’s not intended for that? I can’t hear you over how amazing my concealed face feels and looks! Maybelline Concealer Age Rewind (4)

I feel it gives medium to even full coverage and it’s incredibly long-lasting on the skin, especially if set with a powder afterwards.

To put it bluntly, this is smooth af, okay? I can’t get over how amazing it covers my spots and hyperpigmentation.

And this is how it looks when it’s blended. Maybelline Concealer Age Rewind (2)You can’t even see it, can you?! That’s the thing, it blends like a dream, sets matte and definitely looks like skin. Needless to say, it’s your best bet for the under eyes as well.

Does it crease? Yes, it does. But I never found one that doesn’t. I just have to lightly wipe the excess product with my finger and it’s all good.

Verdict?

Excuse me while I go purchase 17 Maybelline concealers (we all need a small emergency kit, don’t we?). And 5 for my Mum. Oh, and 5 for my future daughter as well.

P.S.: Hope you like the lavender background from my parents’ garden!Maybelline Concealer Age Rewind (5)
