Snuggly Autumn: Favourites

Autumn, fall, the rain season – call it what you want, but when autumn starts kicking in you know you can’t help but succumb to the urge of snuggling in bed with tea, a book or a good TV show. But hey, I don’t blame you, it’s the weather’s fault (also school is in full swing and procrastination comes back, but that is totally not the problem).

Hydration, books and chill is my mantra. Lathering my face in Simple’s Rich Moisturiser, which is a fantastic both day and night cream by the way (oily-faced gal speaking), I get into my covers and unwind. This Calm book is really something else. Interactive, ridiculously easy to read and entertaining, Calm is exactly what you need at the end of the day, before going to sleep, or even when you wake up.

It’s pretty, isn’t? Just flicking through the pages is guaranteed to de-stress you.

And yes, underneath this one there’s Jack Kerouac’s On the Road (a recent buy – long story short, I am utterly obsessed with American poet Allen Ginsberg after watching Kill your darlings and Howl, who was friends with Kerouac; so naturally, this is a must-read).

What is better than cuddling in bed with your favourite book? Cuddling in bed with your favourite book right after a shower, fresh and moisturised. The Body Shop Smoky Poppy Body Butter will leave you smelling incredible and your skin will be softer than ever.

Catching up with TV shows isn’t that bad either. How to get away with murder is totally blowing my mind with their new season: in just one episode you’ll experience plot twists in plot twists, all wrapped around another plot twist. Trust me, it’s insane. Oh, and Scandal.

Music wise, I discovered Travis Scott’s new album, Rodeo, and well, it’s really good. ALSO, Halsey. Oh my God, Halsey. My love for her and her music is on a whole new level. AND I have tickets for her London gig in February; I am not okay.

I take full responsibility in making you crave your bed sheets. Just go for it. Tomorrow is another day.

Yours,

Diana

    1. I know right!!! Amazing! You should try Simple! I’ve been reluctant about it because many bloggers and youtubers seemed to be paid to talk about it but well, it’s worth it actually haha! x
