Holiday Makeup

If you haven’t got consumed already by the nerve-racking Christmas fever, don’t worry, there is still time for you to stress over gifts and plans. Makeup however, tends to brighten up my day; so go ahead and slap some confidence and glitter on your face and try not to get caught up in the materialistic side of the holidays.

I did think about not doing the classic gold eye – red lip but who was I kidding? What says Christmas better than this? Nothing, yeah, I know.

FACE:

L’Oreal Infallible Mattifying Primer

L’Oreal Infallible 24H Matte Foundation, Vanilla 11

Maybelline Age Rewind Eraser Eye Concealer, Light

I attempted baking for this look and I am still debating whether I like it on myself. After applying the concealer, I took my beauty blender and caked on a very generous amount of the Make Up For Ever Translucent Powder under my eyes in the shape of a big triangle and left it there for around 10-15 minutes. I brushed it off and there you have it, basic baking for your inner housewife.

Rimmel London Clear Complexion Clarifying Powder (applied with the Real Techniques Buffing Brush)

H&M Bronzer (discontinued)

Max Factor Creme Puff Blush, Gorgeous Berries 30

Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips, Vegas Trip

BROWS:

Rimmel London Eye Brow Pencil, Dark Brown

EYES:

Too Faced Shadow Insurance Primer

Urban Decay Naked Original Palette: Sin on the lid blended with Buck in the crease; then, I darkened the crease with a combination of Half Baked and Smog. Just go nuts with the golds. Finally, I added Virgin in the inner corners and on the brow bones. (I only used MAC’s 217 brush for the eyes)

Rimmel London Exaggerate Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara

LIPS:

Rimmel London Kate Moss Lipstick Wine 107 (applied with the Real Techniques Detailer Brush)

And that’s a wrap.

I hope you’ll have many hot chocs, mince pies and mulled wine. More is more. Treat yo’self!

Yours,

Diana ♥

P.S.: Please do let me know what you would want to see next on my blog! I’m pretty much open to anything! Thanks! x
