This summer made for a spontaneous trip to Italy, and I was not prepared for the sheer beauty that I encountered over there. The architecture, the people, the nature, the food, the gelato (and the Aperol) – were all straight out of a dream.
I stayed in Milan for a week, but also visited Venice, Burano island, and the Como lake in an attempt to make the most of my Italian getaway. To say that I was taken aback by the charm Italy holds is an understatement. Oh, and don’t even get me started on Italian men…

This weekend made for a brilliant impromptu Brighton visit. I met with two friends there at 10 in the morning and we went exploring. Since it was my first time there, I was eager to see this little gem of a town, as well as the infamous Brighton Pier that makes appearances in all pretty Instagrams (hint: I was disappointed). Long time no post. Well, let me fill you in a bit (not that this blog is too personal anyway).
My summer went something like this: got a very spontaneous job at Zara and ultimately got sucked into a routine of work and sleep, while also trying to keep my social life somewhat breathing. As soon as my summer job ended – thank God (not that it was that bad, but damn, customers are the devil) – I went on a deeply researched adventure to the Yorkshire coastline to a village called Robin Hood’s Bay.
